Volvo is a Swedish multinational manufacturer of luxury vehicles & is headquartered in Torslanda, Gothenburg. Volvo Cars has been separate from its former parent conglomerate and producer of heavy trucks, buses, and construction equipment (among others) AB Volvo since 1999 when AB Volvo sold its automobile division Volvo Cars to the Ford. Ford sold Volvo Cars at a loss to Geely Holding in 2010, who publicly listed the company in 2021, whilst holding majority stake. The logo is jointly owned by Volvo cars and AB Volvo, and jointly cooperate in the Volvo Museum.
