Fiat traces its history back to 11 July 1899, when Giovanni Agnelli was part of the group of founding members of FIAT, Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino. Fiat Automobiles was formed in Jan 2007 when Fiat Group reorganized its automobile business, & it became a part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in 2014 and, in 2021, became a subsidiary of Stellantis.
